This bingo is a fun game, suitable for all ages and suitable for early and later stages of Alzheimer's disease. This game was designed after observing that people suffering from dementia were finding it increasingly difficult to play the game of Bingo in its traditional version. By using illustrations and animal sounds instead of numbers, people in more advanced stages of the disease are still able to play it.
How it works
Animal Bingo can be played by up to 8 players, with a speaker organizing the game. The principle is simple, the speaker plays the different sounds on the CD while the participants cover the animals appearing on their card when they hear them. The speaker also has at his disposal a booklet containing illustrations of each animal to give an additional clue. To win, the participant must have covered all 9 animals on their card and shout Bingo!
